How does "domestic violence" affect your record?

for example, there was a huge fight in your house and there was NO physical fight... but there were noises and extreme verbal arguments... no one got arrested but the police came anyway because of the noise disturbance... so they check the IDS of all parties involved in the verbal argument... does it go on your record???? on what does it do to your record??
