I didn't need a Nobel winner to tell me that Obama is the smartest man in the room and his ideas are reasonable, doable and necessary for the welfare of the United States. We gave the reactionaries of the GOP a fair chance. As was predicted, it turned out that the Bush Junta has the Ex-Lax touch. To give these people another bite of the apple is madness times ten. The simple test of this is to ask yourself.....are you better off now than eight years ago? Is our country better off than eight years ago? No amount of spin or contrary argument can change the facts. The reactionaries of the GOP can 'win' an election, but because of bad polices and incompetence they can't govern. If they could, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
