My 6 week old baby boy crys and crys when his daddy.....?

My 6 week old baby boy crys and crys when his daddy puts him down. Me and his daddy are only 17 and 18 so its not like he can live with me and our twins Evelyn and Nolan at my parents house. Today Jayson (my BF and Babies daddy) came for about 2 hr. then had to go to work well he was holding Nolan and when he was about to leave he handed Nolan to my dad well then Nolan started crying!!! I walked Jayson out to his truck and when i came back he was still crying. he has been crying for about 1 hr. straight and Jayson doesn't get back until about 6:00 pm its 4:30 right now. me and my mom have tried everything!! please give us some suggestions!! What calms your baby down??
