My doctor just called me and told me that im RH negative.?

He said that i have to get another blood test and a shot. I know that when your RH negative and your baby is posative your body makes antibodies against your babys blood. But what is going to change now that we know im RH negative? Will the birth be different? will i have to get weekly needles? oh yeah. im 29 weeks pregnant. First baby.
