Social problems??????????????

I'm in 7th grade, So this summer I moved over to Irvine, CA...First of all it sucks cuz now all my friends r like half an hour away. But the problem is, the kids here are so different than over where I used to live! I'm doing just fine at school, I mean nobody rlly hates me and lots of people think I'm pretty cool...But the kids here seem so wierd...like I called somebody and I'm like hey u wanna hang out next week? And it sounds like nobodys like ever asked them this before and I have to explain that I mean like u wanna go watch a movie hang out at ur house etc....also, half these people r like fricken poor and they can't even go to yogurtland or something without someelse paying for them. and to make it worse, I'm living in an aparment until my old house sells. This makes it hard for me to invite people over...This place is just soooo screwed up.... I mean I used to hang out with my friends and have alot of fun almost everyday like play sports outside, go to movies, beach, pool...
