What if another player showed his studs?

If instead of Taylor, can you imagine to reaction if it was Eboue , Barton or savage that had doner that totally deliberate tackle. why would a player go to ground and show his studs to a player 3 foot away. seems that everbody is defending Taylor although most haven't heard of him, do you know that he played under the savge that is called Souness for a start. But eboue and others would have been cled as guilty straight away.
