Why do people love to gape at accidents and events of misfortune?

You are completely Right, and I myself often wonder why someone's misfortune is like a Parade. This happens everytime there is an accident on the highway. With traffic backed up for literally miles when if they only drove without staring the traffic would move along just fine! In reality they create their OWN Traffic! It is rude, and it backs up traffic for miles! The accident is on the side of the road MOVE ON People! DRIVE.
