Why do the Sims2 Bon Voyage game play functions show up as a black screen so I can't see or do anything?

I have all the Sims2 EPs and they all work perfectly fine EXCEPT Bon Voyage, where the screen is black on these parts. When I go to choose the holiday destination it comes up with a black box and I cant select anything or do anything else with it. I have never had this problem with any other expansion. Any ideas why?
