Your thoughts about frozen fish food?

I have a community tank that has kind of merged into a cichlid tank. I have tiger barbs, gouramis, giant danyos plecos, and a red tailed shark mixed in with my cichlids. I chose less agressive cichlids like the strawberry pea. Thnkfully they are getting along wonderfully. I am wandering if frozen fish food is the way to go. I HATE flake food because it makes such a mess in the tank. So i have been feeding strictly frozen food. (bloodworms. brine shrimp, etc.) Is tthis alright? I WILL NOT feed live food to my Cichlids because I do not want to risk disease and I am against it. My Strawberry is HUGE and the most beautiful bright color I have ever seen on one. Im thinking that this is because of good feeding but I just want to make sure that frozen food is ok in itself. I will also throw in some algae pellets and blanched vegetables once in a while.
