Question on sleep disorders?

This all started about a year ago. I wake up at intervals during the night and go back to sleep about 30 to 45 minutes after waking. I am not having night terrors, I am not stressed, actually I am very blessed and am very happy with my job. Early last year I found out I was pregnant and I thought it was just do to pregnancy. Of course with all the crazy feedings at night I just figured it was my mommy senses going off. The baby has been sleeping now through the night for 2 months and still 4 to 5 times a night I wake up out of no where and go back to sleep in 30 to 45 minutes. I have noticed I am having headaches and my neck is sore. I have tried taking Melatonin and various other over the counter medications, taking warm baths at night, eating oatmeal, no caffeine before bed or sugar. I have tried every suggestion on every website. Has anyone out there ever had this issue, what do you do to fix it? I am hesitant to be placed on any prescription sleep aids due to addiction, please help I am at the end of my rope.

sounds like your alternator took a powder and then ran down the battery with the lights on last night. When you hook up a car with a good alternator, it works fine, as soon as you disconnect it dies, that is the alternator. charge up the battery for several hours, and then see if it starts, you need to do this while its light out, your lights take too much juice from the battery. A large auto parts store usually has a machine they can roll out to your car, and test the alternator, the battery and the starter. get this done, and fix the problem.

im young 22 yrs old, i had extraordanary cardio and was a boxer, I trained everyday, ran everyday, exercised tremendously everyday, never used weights.i worked my way to doing 1000 push ups a day, 1000 body squats, etc.. I weighed 140, like my idol julio cesar chavez,and i was never knocked down in boxing. THEN it began, my girlfriend got pregnant, my fault too, but she admitted that she did it on purpose so she could stay with me, I accepted ofcourse and we married. I couldn't box anymore so i left all that stuff and entered a gym and worked there. I began lifting weights and with TREMENDOUS effort i ballooned to 175 pounds of muscle, I wanted to bodybuild and stuff. My wife never interfered AND THEN IT HAPPENED. She became like a little girl and nags all the time, and now im a fat *** that weighs 225 pounds. She ruined my life. I let her do everyting, finish school, etc... and she could'nt let me be a bodybuilder or get my personal trainer license. Im a failure, I'm fat and feel so depressed. When i tell her i'll be back im gonna go run, or im gonna hit the gym(which is 1 day out of the week) she insists and says no. then i leave anyways and feel bad and can't workout right. Dog in Heat?

I just adopted a dog for the first time ever yesterday. I've always had cats so I'm kind of new to this. She is a 3 year old dachshund/jack russell terrier mix. When I got her she was in heat and she still is now. We were suppose to get a free bag of dog food when i got her and they didn't even say anything about it. So for the first night I gave her Purina Alpo Prime Cuts(wet food). It was all we had at the time and she ate it just fine. She isn't potty trained so I would rather her eat dry food so if she does accidently go to the bathroom it won't be such a mess to clean up. You see, the new principle (who is just as, or worse than the last) is hammering down lately. My guess is he wants to make a name for himself. I've heard plenty of stories involving his crack down antics. Just the other day, he didn't allow a boy to wear a bracelet that had little plastic daggers on it. The crazy thing is, its wasn't because of the daggers being weapons, but because he said it was "anti-christian" (which I personally believe was profiling, or something to that gist). In my sopre year I had worn a "Tripp" trench-coat. Of course I was expected to take it off as soon as I was realized, but they went WAY too far. Before I even got to protest, they accused me of imitating Columbine school shooting. I explained to them very rationally that I certainly wasn't and the notion of fear hadn't even crossed my mind. They INSISTED. Called me a liar. I'm afraid loads of other things will follow in his power hungry wake. A lot of the students are hoping to protest by wearing a lot of provocative clothing on a certain day. However, there is indeed a rule in the rule book that states that they are allowed to do pretty much what ever they want, even if it isn't in the rulebook. So I'm thinking, how are we supposed to have a say in this matter, when the school has ABSOLUTE power of authority, no matter how unfair and unorthodox it may be. How do we win this struggle legally?

Okay so my little sister used to self harm...this started happening from the time she was about 11 until she turn like 13. I eventually got her o stop all on my own just by talking to her and letting her know that I love and care about her. Negligible Pool Filter pressure. Is that bad?

I have a Hayward cartridge filter and Hayward dual-speed 1HP pump. The pump is overheating and turning off all the time now (not sure what is the issue but thinking of replacing it rather than fixing it as it is old). In the meantime, we are running the pump at half the speed (it is a dual speed pump) which does not cause overheating until we fix or replace the pump. But running it half the speed reduces the pressure on the filter from 12psi to almost negligible (2-3PSI maybe). I know high pressure is not necessarily good, but is low pressure also a bad thing? I realize not as much water being pumped as quickly, hence the low pressure. We're running the pump almost 24/7.

Question about medieval 2?

I keep losing battles yet I can't spot my own weakness. I try so hard to practice and kick *** against the cpu on the hardest setting but online the engine seems to favor the opponent. I know it sounds like I'm refusing to take the blame. But I observe and observe and always the odds could favor me but the enemy still wins. I could've maneuvered so damn well, but the enemy still wins. I pick the best units yet when I envelope the enemy unit, his unit lasts until reinforced. Same scenario on me though and my units rout within 10 sec of being enveloped. I always do better in the middle of the battle but my endgame sucks. I need some tips and explanations plz.

Your thoughts about frozen fish food?

I have a community tank that has kind of merged into a cichlid tank. I have tiger barbs, gouramis, giant danyos plecos, and a red tailed shark mixed in with my cichlids. I chose less agressive cichlids like the strawberry pea. Thnkfully they are getting along wonderfully. I am wandering if frozen fish food is the way to go. I HATE flake food because it makes such a mess in the tank. So i have been feeding strictly frozen food. (bloodworms. brine shrimp, etc.) Is tthis alright? I WILL NOT feed live food to my Cichlids because I do not want to risk disease and I am against it. My Strawberry is HUGE and the most beautiful bright color I have ever seen on one. Im thinking that this is because of good feeding but I just want to make sure that frozen food is ok in itself. I will also throw in some algae pellets and blanched vegetables once in a while.

Why won't my college let me start a White People club? (read description)?

Alright, so my college has a social club for every type of major ethnic group, they have a "Black Power" "Asian Alliance" "Middle Eastern Coalition" "Native Americans United" "Hispanics United". They have a social club for every major ethnic group except whites/Caucasians. So I proposed to the Administrations office for permission to form an official White people's club, but they turned me down saying that it was racist and unnecessary. 1992 nissan maxima missing and sputtering?

This is more details on earlier question for my 92 maxima 6 cylinder VG30E engine that is missing and sputtering. car has about 160k miles. it started out small with a slight hesitation and slowly got worse. now it misses and sputters and barley wants to go anywhere when i step on the gas. It bogs down bad when i hit the throttle. I did onboard self diagnosis and it gave me code for oxygen sensor. so i changed oxygen sensor and spark plugs. both were very white in color indicating running very lean. I cleaned all wires and connections including cap and rotor. Although I know its dangerous, I used starting fluid to check for vacuum leaks. when spray into intake, engine ran almost perfect for maybe 20 seconds. I unplugged m air sensor and engine stalled. is that normal? anyway, everything looks good and yet engine still running bad. could m airflow sensor cause engine to miss and bog down? maybe throttle position sensor? im at a loss. please help. thank you

The Shining - I just did not feel the "fear"?

Now I know movie lovers and critics will be upset over this but I have always been freaked out by horror movies. I cannot watch a horror movie alone nor sleep alone after watching one. That said, I saw the Shining with Jack Nicholson tonight... a second attempt to look at it and it just did not raise one pore. I was unmoved though it is voted the scariest horror movie ever made. I saw the Exorcist which is just as old a movie and that would have been the millionth time I saw it.... and to date, I still find myself sitting far away from the tv because the movie is so frightening. The Omen would be the other movie that shakes me up to the point I need to call my sister to spend the night because I am too afraid to sleep alone. What is it about the Shining that makes it such an epic horror? I understand the movie and though it was good but slow, I still got to stay up at 3am, in the dark, without the slightest fear and watched the whole thing. Then I typed this and now I am off to bed to sleep without it bothering me. I am not insulting the movie people so don't go off on a tantrum. Newborn fights sleep, and wins almost always!?

My son is 2 weeks old and does fine at night between his bottle feedings, but during the day, even if he falls asleep on the bottle, he fights sleep. We give him a paci and he likes it, but sometimes freaks out as if it's fallen out even if it hasn't and wakes up and starts fighting sleep again, missing several naps in the day. I don't know how to get him to relax. I can get him to sleep by stroking his face on his eyebrows and cheeks, but as soon as I'm ready to lay him down he starts fighting again. My wife has a reoccuring problem where she cramps in the abdomen and pes blood in her stool.Docs are lost.?

She's had CAT scans, scopes done (both top and bottom) and the cramps are always along the left side of her stomach. Diverticulitis has been rulled out and the only thing ever found are some polyps and Diverticulosis with one of the scopes she's had done. Every time she has this and goes to a doctor, none of the tests every suggest what could be causing the problems. She has this happen at most twice a year I think. It does not seem to coincide with her periods either.

What is the best way to kill roaches?

I live in the South and these freaking roaches are hard to kill. We never had roaches before and are very clean people. Our 700 lb neighbor, who was extremely dirty, died recently and since then everyone else in the neighborhood has had roaches. We have tried Raid, Bengal, and Orthro brands and all it seems to do to these roaches is make them high and they start ovulating and laying eggs like crazy. I want something that will kill them right there on the spot. I'm thinking about boric acid but I have cats. These roaches are mutant and nothing seems to kill them. In fact they don't even look like roaches, they look more like a crossbreed between the local Palmetto bug and the miniature roaches. Please help.

Many people say it was grunge, others say it was nu-metal, still others say it began during the hairmetal era when style first started to noticeably dominate over substance. I believe it began in the 70's, with a little movement called punk. 3 chords and singers who can't sing to save their lives - now a common sight in modern rock - began with punk. Grunge made it huge in the US, and now we have to put up with garbage like metalcore, emo, screamo, and God knows what else they're calling it (all of it sounds the same anyway). Granted, punk did aid in the creation of thrash and speed metal, and it gave us great bands like the Clash and the Misfits...but it's positives are far outweighed by it's horrible impact on rock as a genre. These are my thoughts, I'm interested in what you guys think.

I'm in 7th grade, So this summer I moved over to Irvine, CA...First of all it sucks cuz now all my friends r like half an hour away. But the problem is, the kids here are so different than over where I used to live! I'd go around the length and breath of the island in search of food before I'd eat my friends. To eat them, I'd have to kill them first, and I can't even kill a spider. I put them out the window. Eating human beings is crossing a moral line and is not something I'm prepared to do. What I would do in that scenario is get us all working as a team and hunt for and gather a supply of food for us to cook and eat.

When you're under pressure and someone treats you like dirt at work, how do you deal w/it?

I'm a phlebotomist (I draw blood for lab work), and am a new hire at a hospital. I'm finding many of the staff, primarily nurses, tend to treat lab people like janitors. Why do the Sims2 Bon Voyage game play functions show up as a black screen so I can't see or do anything?

I have all the Sims2 EPs and they all work perfectly fine EXCEPT Bon Voyage, where the screen is black on these parts. When I go to choose the holiday destination it comes up with a black box and I cant select anything or do anything else with it. I have never had this problem with any other expansion. I've enrolled in a few cles and I can tell you that it does work. Our minds are powerful enough to trick our senses into believing whatever it is we need it to for a breif moment in time. I suspect you're able to do that all on your own. It's a powerful tool that few will be able to do or identify with.
